‘oil paintings that examine modern life and society through the images and traditions of historic art.’
My art playfully explores the sociological and psychological facets of contemporary life, intertwining art historical references with the visual language of today. By merging the gravitas of classical painting with the immediacy of popular culture, I aim to spark dialogue about how eras converge, diverge, and echo one another. Through this fusion I invite the viewer to reflect on the evolving relationship between past and present.
